Gutsy Women are Traveling
Yep, that's me. I'm leaving on an adventure with my friend Linda and several other women from all other the USA. We are all meeting in Savannah, GA for the beginning of 6 days of plantations, great food, ghost tours, walking, Civil War History, iron work, southern charm, art work, humidity, laughter, and girlfriend fun. I have always wanted to tour that part of the country. Soooooo.... after saving for a year, getting a sub for my precious students, taking 5 days off with no pay, I am off to the south. It's going to be Charleston and Savannah and all I can pack in without totally making my feet sad. I am hoping and praying that I set off no international incidents or even bicoastal incidents. If the south rises again, you will know that the flippinwatermom was involved. I cannot wait!

I love it! Have you ever read "The Fabulous Traveling Funeral of Annie Freeman?" It's about a bunch of friends that take off to scatter the ashes of their lost friend as they venture on a road trip. You should definitely journal your trip! I bet you'll have some great stories to tell!
Have fun and safe travel!
